A weird little name for some great pliers! I picked these up because I was sick and tired of having to bust my ass and hands cracking rust-frozen bolts. Yes, it sounds like some kind of weird dinosaur, but they work! They are specially made to better grip bolt and screw heads and DO make a difference when it comes to wrestling with those stubborn 'made-of-cheese' old JIS bolts and screws. 

Here's the difference - see how the mouth of these pliers has an indent in it...? The jaws of these pliers are cut differently to give you more grip on screws and bolts.
