1978 Honda CX500

 

A friend of mine simply gave me this bike after telling me his wife didn't want it "sitting around anymore".

"OKAY!"   Smiley Face Emoji!!

It didn't run, of course, but it didn't take long to get it going. Here I am looking studly next to it...and Yes, believe it or not, I was smiling...slightly...(Hey, whattya want...I'm Norwegian; with my father's face...). That's expressive joy right there! 

The CX500 is an AWESOME bike! Water cooled, kind of top-heavy in the parking lot, but get her out on the road and she fairly dances! My first ride was to the nearest town about 15 miles from where I live after I got her going, grinning all the way. TONS of torque, purred like a kitten and just an overall Great bike! I wound up selling her to a friend in a moment of weakness and regret it to this day.
