1980 Honda CB125S

 

I found this little Honda languishing in the corner of a basement in Lynchburg looking just like this, and when I inquired about it, the PO sold it to me for $125! No paperwork of course, but that was no problem, I just wanted to see if I could get it to run - and I did! 

I did all the usual - changed the plugs, oil, set the timing, or tried to; my 'timing' skills weren't as developed as they are today, but I did get it going. There was nothing really wrong with it, although it was a bit underpowered. Kick-start only, and let me say that if the timing is a little off, it's a great workout! Nothing like 'Sweatin' with the Oldies,' eh...?  I eventually sold this one too. Don't really miss it; it was fun, but 'meh'...
